An Unwanted Gift - The Origin of Niro

This is a little extract from an upcoming story I am writing. This story depicts the events leading up to Niros transformation into a Vampire.

Cold. Afraid. Alone.

The coroners had done a good job of cleaning up the mess that was once Niro. A young man local to the town of Zeroma, he wasn’t exactly a local celebrity, but his untimely death would come as a massive shock to all who knew him, none more so than his parents.

He had been living with two friends while he attended the local University, merely out of convenience more than anything else. His housemates had returned from a trip to the movies, which Niro had declined as he wanted some alone time, to find their canine housemate lying dead on the living room floor, with his neck ripped open and soaked in a massive amount of blood, that couldn’t possibly all have come from him.

The Doctors at the Zeromus General Hospital had delivered a verdict of ‘Death caused by Feral Attack’, judging by the wounds inflicted on the poor husky. They had even asked his housemates to call and deliver the heartbreaking news to his parents, that their only son had chosen to stay at home alone, and had wound up being savagely killed by some large Feral.

Naturally, they didn’t believe it. At least, not until they were presented with the sight of their, now deceased, son, with a chunk still missing from his neck. His mother screamed and wailed, while in contrast, his father fell to his knees and wept in silence.

As a writer, I am often coming up with new stories. This is my latest series, which will be open ended, meaning there will be no definite ending until I decide.

Niro is a young Vampire, recently turned, who feels that life cannot get worse. Until he meets two very odd furs, who will, in time, completely change his life.

Characters Nightwind and Lucky are copyright to Nightwind005 and Crazy-go-lucky of Furaffinty.

Character Niro is copyright to me.

Do not re-post as your own work. This has happened once in the past, and the culprit did not get away with it, even after they claimed the stolen work was theirs.

Some people are rioting down in London. Why? Because they are taking advantage of an unrelated reason and tearing shit up while they can.

Let’s see if he sticks to that when the police start using Live Ammunition.

The youngest rioter who was arrested, was only eleven years old. Still old enough to be prosecuted, but still, would the police give them leniency? I for one, hope not. Little bugger has to learn that if he’s gonna riot, he can rot in a young offenders institute with the rest of his ‘friends’.

Seriously. This is unnecessary violence. Peoples livelihoods are being destroyed because of that lot. CALM THE F*** DOWN.

Yeah. As the title says, my dad, who left to go live in Gateshead, has now moved back to Newcastle… and he is living at the top of my street.

My mum is gonna flip…
